I have a great desire to see the youth of Freeport grow into assets to our community. I am heavily invested in Freeport through my real estate rental business. Through providing housing, I have become involved with more families than just my own. I would like to work with others to help shape the community for the safety and success of my own children, the children of those to whom I provide homes, and the children of the city of Freeport. I realize that the success of our city must begin with our youth and our schools.

Through my business experience, I have gained success based on sound decisions and an understanding of finance. Much of what I have achieved is thanks to an educated and motivated workforce. I believe that the same principles come to bear on the success of the school district. I also believe our students respond and excel with the help of extremely qualified school personnel. The greater success our schools have, the greater the positive impact on our community for current and future students.

My wife and I have had our own home in Freeport since 2006. Here, we are raising two children, both of whom attend Jones Farrar IB World School. I currently own and operate three businesses based in Freeport IL. They are Chapman Properties 360 LLC, Tim’s Tree Service LLC and Advanced Tub Refinishing.
